The salary. My staff were shopping today. Most of them the women. The items are diapers, food and other household supplies. I was not aware that the salary being bank in today. Until I see them back from shopping during the lunch break.
Being poor is an option. That is what my father teach me a very long time a go. I was a kid at that time. He is not educated, not inheriting a bunch of money or land. What he got only his brain and muscle to work with. But he managed to sent four of his child to university. Making money from tapping rubber and oil palm plantations.
What he said is " buat kerja biar berkat".
I do not know how to translate berkat to English. But I do know why berkat is the priority in most of my father words. Berkat means you are not poor, not by your own choice.
