Student at any age.

Yes, tomorrow I'm going to be a student again. A student to the chief clerk, my bos personal assistant, my fellow subordinates and many others that their path will cross with mine in Seremban.

A long journey from home again for this week. Need to find a strategic housing area to accomodate both of my work place. My brother suggested the Sikamat area. Well, shall be hunting for some more places during my lunch time tomorrow. My hunting yesterday didn't bring any luck :(.

A lot actually I wanted to type but time is so limited now. See you later.. Wish me luck!

The stallion test!

Last weekends after my sworn in at Putrajaya, my little brother is kind enough to offer me a ride back to idyllic Mukim Serting. It has been more than a couple of week since the last time I went back, I think the last trip was in the end of February 2010. Well, only the busy man got time is it? :). But I feel quite bad also because my father is the one who called me asking when I can came back home to visit him and not the vice versa. Where is my humility as man who still quite insane, rich (to have both of my parent) and healthy?

I broke the news to my family that I will be in the state government in this three years time. My father was so happy, infact last week he already does the thanksgiving party at my village mosque. But I almost had a quarel with him, well I don't like he telling other people what I does. Eventhough I knew he didn't intend to be arrogant to the villagers, I'm ashemed. Yes, I'm a nobody in my village, among my friend and the community so when I become 'somebody', surely there will be talks around. But how can we close the lips of someone mouth?

My little brother also kind enough to lend me RM100 for the batik shirt when we stop at Nilai 3 on the way back. On Monday, I woke up at 5.00 am to pack my things, iron the shirt and does some house chores. After performing my morning prayer (Subuh) at 6.45 am I already heading towards Seremban. I already survey the route to SUK of Negeri Sembilan the night before on the way back to KL from Serting. Yeah, at 7.45 am only I reached the building and about 7-8 personel already there at level 5. Lucky me, one of my long lost friend from university days, Arif was there. He already served the government for 4 years and before this he was in Ministry of Health in Shah Alam. What a small world!!

Well, we were placed in SUK for the whole week and on Monday 12, April 2010 we will be heading for our own department either here in SUK or the district level. In the morning we had a brief session with head of Human Resource department. Then all of us conduct our own ice breaking session. It turn out that all of us are sons and daughters of Negeri Sembilan and for this intake all together there are 12 of us. The age group is between 24 years old to 28 years old. Relatively young junior officer and more than 30 years of service to boot!

For this whole week we were given task to get to know all the department and units in the SUK. For the past 3 days, it was a blast. Yeah, all of us except Arif work in the private sector before so it is a little bit hectic, fun, great nurturing session! :) But I'm exausted from the travelling. Man, it was more than 100 km ride along the E2 for to and fro journey. On Tuesday night, I fell aslept as soon as 8.45pm and only woke up at 6.00 am. Damm! It resulted to a power blasting ride at 7.15am on busy Wednesday morning and reach SUK building by 7.55am. Well such a dare devil act!.

But I have trouble to slept this two, three days as the time for our placement is nearer! Wish me luck! Be brave Adli, you can do it!

Tired and awesome!

Yesterday, the whole day I spent it at Klinik Kesihatan Putrajaya, Precint 9. The clinic is full of peoples from Dengkil, Bangi and Serdang. Later that night my sister in law told me you go to the clinic with a full belly and by the time you finished the appointment and came out, you are hungry again! So true!

But I am happy with the doctor and medical officer, man, they are really nice people. Their endurance to work for long hour and giving service with a nice smile just relief me of my tiredness from two hours of waiting in triage clinic.

Met one of soon to be a government servant at the triage clinic by looking at his x-ray film envelope. At first glance, I know that I has met him before somewhere but my mind just can't figure it out when and where. After a little chat and ask what is his name, only then my mind start giving me the point. Well, he is one of Dewangga Sakti members, playing the rebana. I used to watch their showcase in Rumah Pena before, infact I had a cd cover already sign by him before. He told me he work as a lawyer before but now he is very interested to serve the government. :)

My father called me later that evening, asking my whereabout. Lately he always wanted to talk and see me whenever he can. Yes, he is very happy that I finally follow what he always wanted me to do during last five years before. Thanks dad, for the prayer. Someday dad, I'll become somebody you will be proud of.

Today after the Friday prayer, I went to Palace of Justice to get signature from the Pesuruhjaya Sumpah. Well,  it is my first time to set my foot there and I am amezed. Awesome it is, just like stepping into a 7 star Mughal stail hotel!. Well after my appointment with the Pesuruhjaya Sumpah settled, I managed to see a bunch of lawyers up for a photoshoot inside the building at the lobby. Man! It was really cool.

Going to Alamanda tonight, to unwind before my sworn in tomorrow . TTFN.
