Mind Tools

Spend this afternoon looking for books and readings about mind tools. As what my colleague said, there are hundreds on tools that I can use to make strategic planning. So with all my might, the search is on and void. I managed to get some pdf document on few tools I would like to learn and use such as 7s McKinsey.

I hope my task to prepare and come out with the booklet on strategic human resource will be a breeze with this new knowledge. Yeah, I found a new game, a new challenge that can propel to greater heights that is becoming a subject matter expert on Mind Tools.

Time

My time management in a mess. That is the first thing I need to rearrange and readjust. Almost a month already I punch in late for a few minutes! Haiya! One minute, two minute, three minute and five minute. I do want to follow my boss great time management. Well he clock in at 8.00 am every morning eventhough his schedule of working only start at 8.30 am.

The new year for muslim already begun a few days ago. Well this is my Hijrah. From worse to bad to good to great. Wish me luck guys. The only reward I want from this readjustment of life is to have a great time at the office and a great time also in my home after the eight or nine hour working.

I love and admired my boss time management skills. So boss, my thanks to your attitude that encourage me to change.

I am back guys!

After two month and half of sick leave, I am back at my desk. What a relief! Now I can move around, not cordoned off by my parents house. But people still ask me to be very careful, not to walk a lot while doing my job. Ironically, if I did not move around I can not settle my task. It is a heavy duty job  I here. As head of a department, I need to supervise 10 person under three different sub department.

On the first (last week) I was bombarded with madness done by my staff. Ha!ha! Come to think of it, the Malays are full of "PHD" diseases ( perangai hasad dengki). But as what Pak A.Samad Said, said "melayu itu biar mati adat jangan mati anak". Ha!ha! I forged how the poet goes but that phrase is really true. 

Man, I really hope I am strong enough to handle these people and also performing my task dutifully.

Rammed by a car. Broke my right leg. Spend a day in hospital in Teluk Kemang. Second day at HUKM orthopedic clinic. Thanks to Dr.Saba for your kind attention. Recuperating at my brother house in Putrajaya, it going to be a very long leave from my beloved job.

Cool

When we were given a  lot of task, endless of project what is the best way to keep our head free from headache?

KEEP COOL!

Planning is the most important step need to be taken by us. With a good plan, we have a clearer and better picture of  the task or the project.

Now I am in a mess. Result of no proper planning being done during the job is received. So how do I reverse these mess into a neat pile of solution? Thus came the term of risk management.

By an act of God, I was transfered again to the secretary office and given the position in the human resource department. The best of it I was assigned to do training. Thus since 14th of July till now, I am Mr.Training manager. Ha!ha!ha!

Gosh! I went away so long..

Hi! Guys and girls! Howdy :)

Gosh! I went away so long, half a year.  2011 already in the third week. So bad of me, letting my emotion take over my love of writing. Guess I owe you all a lot of my progress on my new job, my career. It has been a really hectic time since I made my move to switch offices.

I only work my way in the sport office for about two month and half, then I asked to be transfered to the district office. My reason? Ha!ha! I prefer not to write it here, but it involve some sort principle of my life to be dammed by others. Man, I stand up to the challenge. Moreover being a muslim, even-though not a very devout one, I obey what the teaching requires me to adhere.

But, Allah SWT had more bigger plan. After a couple of days at the district office, again I was transfered back to the secretary office in Seremban.
